As a smart futures intern we arrive at the office at 9:30 and are given tasks to do for the day, we also attend meetings and meet partners. Which is good as it improves our network base.
Yes, at EY they often hold business skills meetings to hep improve our existing skills and to also teach us new skills such as: How to write in a business format. Additionally these sessions are completely voluntary, and there is no added pressure to go on one, they normally last 1-2 hours.
I have really enjoyed the company, and work ethic on the programme, it has really given me an insight in to what life in the business industry would be like.
I feel like EY treated me as if I worked there which was reassuring as most other programmes I have been on, haven't really appreciated me as much, as you get a lot of recognition in EY and has a very good working environment.
The programme was very organised as they had already planned out what we were going to do for the duration of the weeks. Additionally there was added training towards our business experience week.
We received a lot of support from our training provider, and from our mentors and colleagues which was very reassuring and made the programme much more enjoyable.
The support received from the manager was a reflection from the support received from the training provider, which was at a good standard as they were very supportive.
The salary is great as it covers my daily travel costs and gives me a little bit extra spend on my self.
Yes, there are networking events afterwards which allows me to increase my network base and to stay in touch with my cohort.
Yes
Because it's a company that invests and cares about people and ultimately want people to do the best and to succeed in the future.
You should do a lot of research in to the company first and practise towards your telephone interview as it could be daunting if you are not properly prepared.
