Day to day we work with different types of business members of staff. We work on how to communicate effectively and how to work with my other colleagues. We had to do a learning log book through the 2 weeks iam was on the program. We had to talk about how to give effective feedback and also what makes a good team leader.
I learnt lots of new and effective skills for example: how to communicate well. I develop and built on my communication skills by presenting in front of a group full of senior members.
I really enjoyed the program. At the start I thought that it wouldn't be exciting or as fun as I find it I have learnt lots of different type of skills that I can take away with me for the future. It succeeded my expectations as I have learnt so much in the short space of time tat I have been here. I love how EY work as a team they all involved everyone and they work especially well together.
I fell that EY as a whole make sure that everyone no matter who you are make sure that you are involved and made to feel like you are equal. Even though we are part of a smart futures program they sees us as one of the team and they recognise when we have done well and reward us.
I found that the interactive side of the program went well which was the first week. we had different types of talks and it was very inspirational. The second week went really well as we had business experience and I learnt a lot while I was there.
I got a lot of support and help while on the program. I had help with lots of different problems and they help me to change that and made me change my attitude while here.
I received lots of support and hep while here and they made sure that I asked lots of different questions if I didn't understand that. They mentored me in doing well on the program.
It works really well as I was able to travel to and from EY and still have money lefted over to cover for myself to spend on going out and socialising with friends.
There are many opportunities outside the work place. I can use all the volunteer work that I have done to make me stand out form the crowd on my cv.
Yes
As I fell that its a great opportunity as you gain skills, contacts with very professional a senior people and also you gain money from this amazing experience.
I would recommend to be yourself talk about as much examples as you can to sell yourself show to Ey that you can work well as a team and you can over problems ad work well under pressure and still do well.
