Electrical Engineering Apprentice I carry out maintenance, install and defect task on a daily basis. These task can involve installation of wiring to offices or for industrial equipment,maintaining emergency lights and maintaininkg batteries.
Throughout my apprenticeship I have gained a number of new skills and have achieved various qualifications whilst studying at the college as par of the apprenticeship scheme. I hav ealso attended various courses that the conmpnay has put me forward for and acheived cetrificates as proof of passing these courses.
The apprenticship scheme at vulcan is very enjoyable as i have gained an insight on a large scope of work and have learned many techniques and skills that i will be able to use for the rest of my life.
I feel very well looked after by Rolls-Royce as an apprentice by my manager and the company as a whole.
The apprenticeship shceme is very well laid out and organised. The programme description give you a very clear projected goal.
I recive a great amoint o support from the training provider. Tutors are availiable at the college to help out whenever they can.
My employers gives a great deal of support and are always availiable to give guidance whenever there are any problems.
My pay sufficiently meets my needs.
There are various amount of opportunities availiable outisde work. The company attends career fayres and event and send apprentices to cumbria for an outward bound team builiding course for a week.
