A 'standard day' of an assistant construction manager, is the opposite to that. There is not a standard day each day consists of different tasks and experiances
I am currently working towards my HNC in construction and will also receive my CIOB at the end of my apprenticeship. Also the there is in house training roughly 1 once/twice a month.
The working environment is a upbeat place, where team morale is high.
I feel that Mace value their apprentices, this can be seen by being available to answer question. Mace also put on numerous training programs which helps.
The training program is structured well and we are always informed in advance for any training sessions, or support.
The training provider provides advice and help where required, this sometimes require chasing but will also attempt to help
The support is available if you ask, the senior manager are always willing to help, additionally the mace learning team and our own personal mentors are on hand to help where required.
Travel costs are supported by mace which means the rest of the paycheck is mine to spend. The pay is good for a student compared to other apprenticeships.
Outside of work, there are opportunities available via the 'mace rewards' system which give discounts towards dinners and shopping.
Yes
Because mace offers a wide area of apprenticeships. Also once on this course their is support available.
When applying to mace group be aware that it will be long hours but the rewards are there to be had.
