Technology and Data Apprentice - I change my placement every 6 weeks so there are no certain daily tasks. I'm exposed to a lot of things within TfL and within my role I interact frequently with a lot of different people. The various placements help me learn a lot and keep me on my toes.
Currently Studying for a NVQ in IT Professional Competence. Offered a lot of internal training courses, and awaiting to hear about external training courses. I have developed myself professionally, with skills I'm able to take outside of work, I have also became more confident.
Works okay so far. Teams have been great. Company Culture could be more exciting. It didn't meet me expectations to be honest. But I generally do enjoy the scheme.
Apprentices are valued through words but not much through action, this could be taken up on.
The induction was great, the training is okay, could be better if offered more. The support around is good, changing placements every 6 weeks is great although some teams aren't as structured as others well. The programme could be looked into more an improved.
Few issues within the past, not so positive.
Everyone's willing to help, especially the scheme co-ordinations who are willing to hear you out.
Living in London this is difficult to meet. For an apprenticeship its good.
To promote TfL apprenticeships yes, other than that nope.
