I am a Supply Chain Apprentice working in Pack Change for my first role. I am in this job for a year. I work in a team of 7 looking after brands such as Rowntrees/ Yorkie. I look after the pack changes that take place.
I have improved my communication skills, leadership and also my confidence in how to complete tasks by myself. I need to believe more in myself then when i first started.
My team is very friendly and they have welcomed me in which i have really enjoyed and made me feel at ease. the pay is also good and i feel valued as an employee.I have made loads of new friends acorss multiple functions which is helping to grow my network.
I feel like i have a 'proper' job. I have real responsibilities which I thrive off and also by my team members. I have regular updates with my Line Manager and he lets me know how i am getting on which helps me to understand how well I am doing in his eyes as well as Nestles.
We had a few knocks in the road at the start however we gave our feeback back to our champion and this was acted upon very quickly and College is much better now the changes have been made. Nestle have many resorces which they have used to help with the knocks we have had over the course of the months.
Much better now we have new teachers. We get lots of handouts and lots of knowledge to learn. they are there helping us along the way
Nestle have many differetn functions across the business which are there and able to help with enquiries which we may have. Everyone is very apporchable and this helps me to feel valued and they are very willing to take time out to teach us.
very well. It is one of the better paid schemes which helps.
It is more about the individual taking the time to organise things in there own time rather than Nestle doing everything for the person. I think that this has worked well for me as this has helped me to grow up and improve my organisational skills.
Yes
