Title: Logistics Contract Management Daily tasks: dispute claim management, regular checks on service levels, project tasks, site visits etc. Daily Interactions Internally/Externally: wide networking opportunity across my department as well as others. Responsibilities: Contract management involves a lot of responsibility and tight control of what our third party contractors are doing. Projects: Project involvement with both Supply chain and the Nestlé Academy
Nestlé offer a wide range of internal training course to improve personal development areas of which I have taken part. As part of this sponsored degree programme I will qualify with a BA (Hons) degree in Professional Business Practice from Sheffield Hallam University
I thoroughly enjoy my programme and do not regret my decision in not going to Uni full time. I think Nestlé is a great company to work for in terms of team, company culture and meeting expectations. As employees we are looked after and pushed to be our best at all times.
I feel valued by Nestlé as a younger employee as young talent is well-thought of now throughout the business and we are encouraged to get as involved as we can do in all tasks and positions.
The induction and training sections of this programme have been really good for me. The support through studying has varied, however has now improved following catch-up meetings with the group.
Great support from the university
Now great support after catch up sessions have been put in place.
I believe that compared to other degree programmes Nestlé pays very well in regard to starting salary. This is then dependable on performance with the opportunities for pay rises. To be paid whilst gaining work experience is really good, and the salary meets my living costs.
There are a number of activities put on by the business e.g exercise classes. Company events and activities are also vast, giving employees the opportunity to be involved in things outside of work for a good cause.
Yes
It is a very welcoming business that offers endless opportunities to be your best.
Be yourself. Nestlé do not necessarily employ those individuals with the best grades - they look more at your personalities and see what you can bring to the business as an individual.
