one year experience on the factory floor working as an operator and then 2 years in 6 month stints in different departments around the site.
Received L3 HACCP. building on work knowledge. apart from that I haven't received anything new apart from refreshing the courses I had previously.
The work is great. the operators I am currently working with are supportive as well as my line manager... then support above that seems to be non-existent apart from the academy team which is based in York half way across the country to where I am.
Sometimes not much, sometimes a bit, sometimes a lot when they need me to do something. Feel like a pawn in a chess game sometimes and as they don't want to even listen about my further education plans it doesn't fill me with confidence.
Very well. they know what I am to do and so far has been good but I have had to be proactive about a lot of aspects of it and trying to grow. I am aware that other apprentices on site aren't getting along so well.
from the university a lot. From nestle not a lot apart from as mentioned before from my line manager and operators on shift.
MY shift at work is supportive up to my line manager level. However above that on site there is little to no support. I have found myself on the phone to HR in York and not Wisbech.
Very good. can afford to travel, pay rent/bills. best apprenticeship wage going.
a few if we don't get bashed down by our own HR team and not allowed to attend.
Yes
Good money for the work that is done.
If you want to study after the apprenticeship GOOD LUCK! non-existent within Nestle. Head down work hard and people will notice you.
