My role consists of a variety of admin tasks including diary management for my team, organising travel, booking meetings, preparing and sending out the documents needed for the meeting and also collating information and feedback. I am part of the Apprenticeship team within the Co-op so I also make the different departments aware of the apprenticeship opportunities available within their business area and research the apprenticeship standards available to suit the job role they have in mind, I also collectively manage a apprenticeship enquiry inbox and will administer the apprenticeship service account when it goes live.
My apprenticeship has helped me to become more confident, and has improved my communication and IT skills.
I really enjoy my job, I get on very well with my team as everyone is so friendly, helpful and supportive they are a joy to work with. My team were so welcoming when I joined and really helped me to settle into my role.
I feel very valued within the work place, everyone is so appreciative of the work that you do.
My programme is well structured and organised I have had no issues.
My trainer is very supportive and is always available when I need assistance, she provided me with all the information I needed in regards to starting my apprenticeships so I was aware of every aspect of the NVQ, she also explained how the course would be structured so that I was aware of what is expected of me.
Both my manager and team are massively supportive.
My salary meets my costs well.
Yes, there are social events outside of work and also opportunities to 'lend a hand' and help out in the food stores.
Yes
The Co-op is a great place to work, you feel valued and learn so much, there are lots of opportunities for progression and its a great alternative to university.
Research the ethics of the Co-op to ensure you know how the Co-op is unique and be yourself.
