We took part in grouped activities and presentations. There were also seminars and a tour of the EY offices in London.
We learnt presentation skills along with teamwork and planning skills
The day was fun as we were able to create something to show at the end and it was great to be able to see the EY offices.
There was good communication both before and after the event and there were some talks given by people that are quite high up within EY.
The day went very quick with enough time for breaks but not long enough for you to get too bored.
You were put in a table with one person from the school lever scheme (I think in their second year) who were able to answer questions and assist in the project work.
We left with all the information needed to help our application for either the school lever scheme or work experience placements.
Travel expenses were paid for.
They put on webinars to help with the phone interview and they offer a fast track scheme to further work experience.
Yes
It was a well thought out day where we all felt was tailored well to us with the right amount of project work and talks by EY staff.
Simply apply and keep on going through the stages as there were quite a lot of them.
