Intern within the TMT department. Carried out some simple balance tests e.g Cash, Accruals etc, and also tied out financial statements ie making sure notes had been copied correctly.
Developed the financial accounting knowledge I learned in my first year of university, and learned useful excel tips and shortcuts.
Very much so. The work experience is invaluable I think.
Very well. The employees I worked with in my team were very friendly and approachable too.
My programme was very organised and I was fortunate enough to be on a client the whole placement. However some of my friends on the scheme were put on multiple clients in a short time, which disrupted the progress they could have made.
In terms of the work I was doing, my colleagues were very good at supporting me.
I don't think I had the experience to require such support from the employer.
Luckily I lived at home, so it left plenty of spending money once I'd paid for my rail ticket.
Didn't have time to experience these.
