Currently studying electronics once a week at college and doing all other parts of electronics at IPS International. I am working through 6 units at work to obtain my electronic qualifications.
I have learnt many new maths skills that I had not learned before and have been able to enhance my knowledge on circuits much more from when I was studying physics at school.
I enjoy the programme a lot
Fairly highly valued
Everything is very well organised apart from the college days
I have received lots of support from my training provider at IPS however college is not the same
Have not required any support so it is hard to say
Overall pretty well however it only just covers my food, petrol and other things so have little spending money for myself but still manageable
We have been away with work a couple of times which has been great
Yes
It is a great apprenticeship that is an alternative to going to uni and gives you so many opportunities to succeed
Be committed to working hard and working as a team
