Territory manaGerman in a third party sales team. I visit large supermarkets and convenience stores weekly to check compliance and look to drive sales from the range of our products.
Negotiation, how to play a game face, independence, planning and technical skills.
Great opportunity to combine university study and the experience to work in a FMCG organisation. Moving around the different functions really gives you a perspective of the challenges each function faces.
I feel respected as a young person in the organisation and treated the same as any other employees. I feel the company let's it's self down when it comes to recognition of young people and financial rewards.
Very good. 2 years of functional experience and a year to specialise is perfect. Ensuring a Fast start is given a stretching role and the opportunity to develop in year 4 is now the big step for the programme.
Nestle are number 1 for training. I'm blessed with the different programmes and things I have learnt since joining the programme.
In year 1, there was a lot of support from the academy but this has seemed to fade as you go through the ranks. Small updates on whose in the Academy Team and how older Fast Starts could get involved would be appreciated.
A very healthy salary is given in year 1 starting on the scheme but there has been a minimal rise in year 3 for the amount of work employees and I are taking on. If a empliyee is doing the same job as a graduate or higher, surely the salary should be in a similar bracket.
