I am a Business Support Manager to the Chief Information Officer, this involves business operations activity as well as strategic initiatives. Working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver outcomes that effect colleagues lives.
In my latest role, I have grown in confidence, elevated my thinking and learned to cut through the noise and focus on what matters.
I have an inspirational line manager, surrounded by great staff and have a massive amount of support - it's great.
Extremely, I have been funded through two talent programmes, various training courses and I am actually seconded in London at the moment (I live in Edinburgh). So the company has invested a lot in me which helps to feel valued.
Very, as it is delivered by the university there is a comprehensive and well organised learning structure.
Lecturers are available to provide support as and when they are able to respond which is ideal.
As mentioned previously, surrounded by a supportive team who are always willing to help.
More than satisfactory for the time being, but I like to always be looking forward in terms of next steps for my career, and therefore rewards.
I have been to various events held outside of work, for celebration, networking, further development. As well as helping charities as a team.
