Marketing assistant, my job involves; logging of important information, reporting, liaising with internal employees and external agencies, it is very reactive and many more above the line marketing and strategic communications.
I have learnt many more skills and gained qualifications. these include strategic communication training, CMI, level 3 business and admin, level 2 functional skills IT and English, presentation skills, safe driving course.
I enjoy all areas of my programme from my team, they are all so intelligent and great at what they do as well as being helpful and always valuing my opinion. The company as a whole, as everyone in the business is welcoming and will always say hi, it exceeded my expectations of the work and the reality and I cant fault it really and I did enjoy it and I still do enjoy it.
I feel very valued as my opinion is wanted and is listened to, I have done many things at Vauxhall and been involved in some great events, meetings. not only do I feel valued by people internally at Vauxhall but by the people we work with outside the companies walls and it is great to develop a relationship with an extra group of people with different work but the same objectives and interests. And I have been involved in many projects and delegated tasks and have been responsible for a lot more than I expected.
It is pretty well structured. however, educational providers could be better.
In aspects I receive loads of support and this is great but in other aspects of the support from the provider lacks personally.
Plenty of support, they are very caring and always make me feel wanted and valued. and I am confident that if an issue ever came about then I would be able to find help.
It is a good salary, could possibly cover more as I have to travel quite far and fuel is expensive and so is train tickets but it is great on the whole. I have plenty of money to things I want to outside of work, socializing and everything that comes along with that.
As Vauxhall is such a big company, the opportunities are great and there is people always trying to come up with ideas and setting up events for people here at work, outside of work. Venue 360 which is 100m from work, I have played football and rounder's there with work and that was great fun and really good to meet and talk to new people within the business.
Yes
Because I believe it creates a great path way and there is endless opportunities available and can really improve you and progress you as a person.
To do as the process says and it will be easy enough. be yourself and don't be afraid to put yourself out there, be confident in your own ability and remember that the hiring managers don't want you to fail, they are always rooting for you to do well, not matter how intimidating they may seem. Always ask questions, the thirst to learn will get you very far and the more you ask the more you learn
