An apprenticeship in lift engineering. Daily tasks include going on job sites, fixing problems, mainting equipment and dealing with customers and office staff. Working safely is a daily responsibiblity.
Yes and recieved internal and the oopurtunity for external trainig courses also. Personal and professional skills have also been gained such as learning to talk and interasct with new people and customers on a daily basis.
The apprenticeship ship is enjoyable in most aspects as evry day there is the possibilty of a new challenge. It meets most of my expectations however sometimes can be challenging however for the most part it is enjoyable.
Not sure.
Induction process was rather slow however the support is good and is always available.
Training provider comes through an app but visits only every so often.
Support from employer is always relatively good i.e. managers however mentors and HR are not so readily avalaible as you would need to phone or email to speak to them.
Compared to other employers and industries the salary is very fair for an apprenticeship role. The location for me is okay but can sometimes vary in this job.
Little available.
Yes
Fair company with good rates of pay and okay working conditions.
Need to be able to work under stressful conditions such as time restraints and pressure from customers. Application and assesment process aswell as interview for me happened pretty quickly with applying then being asked to attend an assessment with the possibility of an interview the same day depending on the assessment result.
