I am currently working in the Scheduling team as a Planner of water and occasionally cereal. Within my role I plan deliveries for UK&Ireland and try to minimise costs by ensuring all vehicles are as full as possible.
I have gained a wider knowledge of the Logistics team from being in the Scheduling team.
I thoroughly enjoy the Supply Chain Apprentice scheme and couldn't ask for a better experience.
I feel extremely valued and feel like I have great responsibility within my job role.
There has been a few issues regarding the college side of my scheme, however these have been rapidly sorted by my apprenticeship champion and the college itself. But because my scheme is the first time Nestle have done it, it's expected that there would be some teething problems.
We have regular contact with our training provider.
Full support from my employer and the teams I have worked in.
Very happy with my salary, plus there's annual pay rises and bonus' based on you performance!
Plenty of opportunities to get involved with projects and extra-curricular activities.
