I work in global marketing for Home Care, specialising in digital marketing. This involves search optimisation, e-commerce, social media and working with creative agencies.
I have learnt the basic principles of marketing and digital marketing, as well as job-specific training for certain frameworks or systems. I am also planning to go a google squared course in the future.
I really enjoy it. I am being stretched and supported in equal measure. I have a structured work plan, and the freedom to do my own thing an make my own decisions.
I feel really valued, I am given a lot of accountability and responsibilty.
It's quite well structured. It's 18 months long and I have certain modules i need to complete in that time, along with visits from my assessor and training days throughout the year.
I receive a bit of support, they visit my office and answer any questions I may have and help with my coursework
I receive loads of support, my manager has created a work plan for me with stretching goals and targets and has matched that work up with the modules of my coursework.
I live at home so the salary is fine for me. I can travel, buy food, go out, etc. However it would be hard for someone living alone/paying rent
