I am a software engineer and I currently work on F-35. I am also working on a spreadsheet task as well as other stretch objectives. I attend UCLan on a Monday and Tuesday to complete my degree
I have learnt to program basic applications and how the system lifecycle is followed within the company. I have also learnt the about the quality testing processes that need to be followed in order for any software to be released
I do enjoy work although at times there may not be a lot of it. The company is a brilliant company to work for and it exceeded my expectations
I feel extremely valued as the company understands that apprentices are the future of the company therefore they want you to succeed.
As this is only the second year that the programme is running it can sometimes be a bit bumpy. However, on the whole I believe it is very well done.
Any time I have any issues there is always someone I can see to help solve these issues.

I have been involved in a lot of activities outside of work including company events, recruitment fairs, volunteer charity work.
