Engineering Degree Apprentice Review

My current role involves dealing mainly with internal customers and liaising with them in order to understand what it is they want to visualise. My day-to-day role involves creating visualisations of these ideas.

I have learnt how to use a lot of software programs as well as day to day skills such as arranging and preparing meetings and networking within the company.

I enjoy the work I do and have enjoyed working with the other apprentices in my intake. The work I have been tasked with has exceeded my expectations and is enjoying as well as challenging.

I feel a valued member of the team I am working in in my placement, but feel the apprenticeships team are now more focused on bringing in the next intake.

The program has been well structured to ensure everyone has been brought to the same level of engineering understanding before being let into the workplace and the qualifications being done are being run well side by side.

The training provider are always committed to supporting us and will take time to give us their full efforts.

The apprenticeships team is usually there for support if you contact them, but support is always readily available in my placement team.
