Maintaining the software on the jet, which includes reviewing and updating the code
New programming language and I've been taught how to work with a team.
Very much so, to think that software that I have updated and added functionality to is flying around on a jet already.
I've only been here 7 months and I already feel part of the team along with feeling trusted to work independently. My manager just treats me like the other employees giving me the same tasks and responsibilities.
Very well, to start off we had a week induction where we were showed round, and had our roles within the company explained to us, after the induction week, our line managers set us up with a programming course for us to learn the language. we also started university going on two day release, Monday and Tuesday, then the rest of the week working.
We have regular meeting with the head of apprentices where we have the time to discuss anything we don't like, want changing or replacing on the scheme, and during working hours we are able to ask other colleagues on how things are done and even give advice on our university work

very well, I only travel one out of every three weeks as me and another two of the apprentices are car sharing, which will only cost me £20 for the week, then £200 to my parents each month, which still leaves a fair bit, this just gets saves with a bit of it left for social costs
There are regular charity events within work, for example in the coming month they are hosting a site to site walk going from samlesbury to warton, there are company football teams that are always looking for new players
Yes
there are so many bonuses to working for them, such as flexi time, this means we can come and leave when we want as long as we cover a certain amount of hours a week, there are employee bonus schemes such as the share scheme, along with been having really friendly and helpful people surrounding you
fill your application with all of the extra curriculum activities you've done and just be yourself.
