I am an apprentice design engineer, so i participate in design meetings and work on a CAD system to work on the task I am given
I have developed many new skills since starting work, communication skills are much improved over when i started. Team working skills have improved.
The different tasks you get to do in the programme is enjoyable as you get to meet new people and build on skills in the different departments you work in.
They make apprentices feel valued as most employees understand the importance of apprenticeships.
The programme is very well structured and the organisation is also very good, we know what we need to be doing at all time and there is someone to go to if you need help.
Support is very good from the training provider as we have a representative visit us every 6 weeks. However some of the information they can't answer us, when we email them it can take a while for a reply
Support from BAE is very good as we can ask questions and get help from them
Salary is very good
We are given a few things throughout the year but nothing that is particularly exciting
Yes
They are a very good company to work for, the support from people is very good and the work is interesting and you can learn many new skills and improve upon current skills
