  • maintenance technician, carrying out general maintenance around plant. liaising with other departments such as chemistry, engineering. we have a brief at the start and end of every day to talk about safety and also the operational focus of the plant.

  • NVQ Level 3 in engineering. HNC general engineering.many internal training courses surrounding my electrical discipline. i have learnt lots of new skills and also more basic skills that i have added to my knowledge and understanding of the station capabilities.

  • it is work at the end of the day but i do get up in the morning looking forward to the challenging day ahead.

  • we do get recognition when we do good things and also negative coaching to enable us to learn more as team

  • excellent employer salary wise and also we are very well looked after. not many people leave edf to go onto better things as this is top notch

  • be interested in what you are applying for. love what you do. make the most of every available opportunity
