I am a facilities definition engineer who's role is to lease with team members and state requirements for projects. It is also to give a fresh set of eyes on projects.
I have developed my team working skills as I am working In a team all of the time. I have also earned a level 2 NVQ. I didn't have a level 2 NVQ before my job
I enjoy my team and working. The company culture is excellent as I am treated really well. I feel as if I met my expectations well. I really like coming to work.
As an apprentice I feel like I am really valued. Everyone is willing to spend time with me and help me out. Everyone is also willing to speak to me at any point.
My programme could be more well organised. This is because we are the second co hort and things don't seem to be structured very well. Improvements could be made
Training providers have a good general attitude into helping us. But it takes a long time to get this support and most of the time problems have grown by the time support is given.
The employer as a whole gives great support. This is because we are the future of the company. Everyone values the apprentices at the company and have a very good attitude before them
After my car and living costs are deducted my disposable income is very low. Especially when trying to save up for a house and pay all my other out goings.
there are various opportunities outside of work to get involved in such as a site to site walk which happens once a year for charity. its a good opportunity.
