I was at the Discover EY event. We were in teams all day and did activities such as planning a prom and discussing what makes a good employee.
Developed my presentation skills, personal branding skills and have begun to understand what it is like to work in a city office.
I enjoyed the section with Bianca Miller, and it was fun planning the prom (if a little stressful). Some sections of the day could have been more enjoyable - such as the presentation we had on thinking and problem solving.
We were given the emails from everyone of the day which showed they appreciated us coming, and we were given free food so fairly appreciated.
Very much so - all resources were on hand and I understood the structure of the day.

At the event they really emphasised their values and what made them stand out from other accountancy firms. The Apprenticeship scheme also sounds intriguing.
I applied for the Discover EY event so not sure if this is applicable.
