I attended the EY discovery day, which was one full day of insight into EY careers, opportunities and further options.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. We practice team working, problem solving, negotiation as well as presentation skills.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It was excellent. The location (next to EY main office), the programme, the presentations were spot on. It was also good to meet other candidates and work with them. I really appreciated EY senior staff taking time out to invest in the day.

Answered above to some extent. The fact that EY takes time to set these sessions and commit to it wholeheartedly makes me vary valued.

Although it was a day, it was thought through and very well structured and organised.

EY continuously kept in communication with me from the start of my application. The supported us throughout the day as well.

Excellent opportunities, excellent training, excellent options for progression, continuous communication, tough challenges with room to grow.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?

Prepare, research, be eager and confident in your abilities. Take time to check EY careers website regularly and network as much as you can when on the discovery and other sessions.
