I enjoyed my apprenticeship as It gave me valuable experience as well as allowed me to learn new skills and earn qualifications whilst earning a salary.
I always feel a great appreciation for the work that I do from higher ups, I am always made to feel valued. This enables me to want to try my best.
The programme was well organised. All the necessary training was given, study time was well organised and more than enough get through all of your study work.
The training provider gave me a lot of support. They were always contactable and even provided several face to face meeting sometimes at short notice to provide assistance.
HR are contactable through various methods. My manager have always been very supportive and are always willing to have a chat.
The pay during my apprenticeship period easily covered all of my costs.
Management and the company regularly provide events and social outings. BT actively promote volunteering days which can be taken during work time.
Yes
BT is a great place to work. the Job is very demanding but also very rewarding. The team are always willing to help and are always sociable. It is genuinely a good place to work.
Preparation is key. During the assessment days ensure that you talk to other people that are also on the assessment day with you, this makes you stand out more as the people you are talking to could also be your colleagues in the near future. The on boarding process is a little lengthy but is not too strenuous. I had little to no experience in IT other than personal hobbies and interests before I joined the company.
