Have developed my cyber security knowledge as a whole. Have learnt about security behaviours and cultures and the thought process of attackers attacking BT.
I very much am enjoying the programme. It is also important to note that this is my first proper experience of the world of work which I think BT really helps support you settle in.
I feel very valued in my current team as they give me good recognition for the work I do. I do however believe the annual performance system BT has focus's to much on what you haven't done than what you have.
Good support from BT (Managers, Colleagues, Coaches, Etc) Should of started the NVQ qualification 6 months ago.
Have not needed any support from my training provider as of yet but they have stated they are there to support any time.
Get a lot of support, especially from managers and apprentice coach. You can message anyone in the company to support you.
Decent salary for an apprentice. However office is located in one of the most expensive areas in the UK, making it hard to find places to rent and costs me thousands on a train ticket each year.
There are many opportunities to do work in schools, charity work and go abroad to work.
