  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program has been very organised from the beginning, it started with an induction week where you could meet up with people in the same situation as you from all over the country. It is also very organised with regards to the time allocated to training, I know how much time I should have available for training and university work each week and can use as much of this as required. The only area where the apprenticeship is not as organised is with the NVQ work that we complete, as the government is currently changing things on the NVQ, it has left some confusion.

  • 9b. Why?
  • I feel that it is a great company and since I have been here, there has been no hostility from anyone and everyone tries to help you to develop your skills.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT Group?
  • During the application process, make sure that you have done your research before reaching face to face interviews. This is essential as turning up with a lack of knowledge of the company is a guaranteed way to not get the job. It is also important to try and show off any skills relevant to the role you are applying for.
