I am a software developer responsible for a management information system: in my role, I use C# to develop changes to this system when required. Also, being an apprentice allows me to do other work: I am currently also developing a new website for my team
I have learned how to code in C#, Java and understand the client side object model. Also, I understand the requirements of Data Analytics from using the Splunk platform
Very much so
I feel very involved and valued by BT
The degree part of the programme could be more organised. However, the apprenticeship itself is very organised
I could receive more support from the university (from the degree program), such as referencing methods.
My apprentice coach is very approachable, as well as my line manager
My location is 20 minutes by car. However, my salary meets the cost of petrol
yes - BT offers 3 days of volunteering leave a year and actively promotes volunteering
Yes
It's a great opportunity, combining a hand-on apprenticeship and a degree (with none of the debt)
Be prepared for the interview and do research
