Project Management - My day to day activities involve liaising with various stakeholders (sometimes senior managers) to receive updates to outstanding actions and provide updates on their relevant programmes to be communicated at progress meetings. As well as providing support to team members on various different activities on an as and when needed basis.
I have been provided with plenty of opportunities to take part in training courses both internally and externally to work and during my time here I have had chance to develop skills key to being successful in my field.
I thoroughly enjoy the scheme, I enjoy the work involved and all staff have been welcoming during my time here. The scheme provides me with everything I need to be successful in the future.
I feel my employer values me, and this is reflected in feedback provided from placement managers and line managers alike. Meetings scheduled are more than adequate to communicate any feedback which I find really helpful.
Programme is very well organised, support provided and training is very well established. Inductions provide a great deal of input from other apprentices which provided an honest insight into the business and what to expect. All members of the early careers team are easily accessible and happy to help.
Support from training provider is adequate.
Employer provides a great deal of support, with buddy & mentoring schemes as well as the early careers teams themselves. Everyone is readily available and always happy to help.
I am provided with a decent wage, however after my current outgoings, I can sometimes struggle to pay for unforeseen expenditure (eg Car Repairs , House repairs)
Plenty of out of work activities to take part in, lots of opportunities to help the local community and take part in social activities. also sports clubs are easy to become involved in whilst on the scheme.
Yes
Excellent benefits and training/development is great.
Application process can be tricky but well worth the effort. You will receive plenty of opportunities other employers could not provide. As well as being able to work on some of the most complex engineering projects in the world.
