I am a project controller working across a range of platforms. I manage schedules, risk, change and finance actuals in support of the Project Manager.
I have improved my communication skills and developed a range of analytic skills and presentation skills.
I find the programme both challenging and rewarding. It is a multifaceted programme and I enjoy the diversity of the tasks and the people I work with.
BAE Systems invests a lot of resource into their apprentice population. We are encouraged to integrate with the professional population, this is well received and valued by all.
The programme is very well structured and the request for feedback feeds the process of continual development.
I feel I am very well supported - the amount of support I receive is totally down to my individual needs.
Same as the above - I am aware of who I can go to for support, bi-annual reviews are in place to ensure my wellbeing and discuss my progress across the programme.
I am able to support my lifestyle and run a household. I am able to make savings for my future on a monthly basis without compromising my current position.
There are a range of additional opportunities including STEM events, clubs (choir/flying/walking etc) alongside events such as the NWAA University Challenge.
