  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am an associate in UK&I assurance Daily tasks include working as an auditor and holding meetings with the client to discuss areas of the accounts for which it is my responsibility to audit Internal interactions will be between the audit team (manager usually comes out on site 2/3 times a week) External interactions are constant - many client meetings per day Depending on the client I can be responsible for either some areas of the accounts or I will be wholly responsible for the whole audit - sometimes with a team below me. Projects are external financial audits (usually between 2-4weeks per audit) Everyday is completely different - depends on what client and what I'm looking at (huge work variety)
