I am an Audit Associate responsible for the smaller accounts on an audit such as cash, FA and debtors and creditors. I have a number of responsibilities.
I am training towards the ACA chartered accountant qualification. I have also completed numerous internal training courses which have aided in my progression.
I enjoy working with the teams that I have been a part of. The work I do is interesting and the culture within EY suits what I am looking for.
On the majority of the jobs that I have worked on I have been thanked for performing the work that I have completed. The odd managers don't recognise the work that you have performed.
The induction in London was very enjoyable and there is a wide range of support from Kaplan and the ACA team when it comes to exams. There is also mainly good support from the seniors on my teams.

I can receive a wide range of support should I ever need any assistance. My counsellor is also on hand if I have ay issues that need raising.
My salary doesn't allow for me to be able to live near the office however as I am only at the start of the apprentice I am currently still living at home. The expense reimbursement is good.
There are a wide range of opportunities outside of work. There are sports teams as well as charity events that aid the EY foundation, both of which I have been involved with.
Yes
World-wide recognised firm that I feel I fit in and I am now a part of. The vast majority of people here care about your development and want you to succeed.
Try your hardest to impress and get the job. Be yourself in the assessment days otherwise you will get caught out when you start working.
