no two days are the same which is amazing, mainly I review spreadsheets, create analysis, create documents and correspond with clients, I also have lots of extra curricular roles like business development and orgainising socials which is great!
I'm now amazing at excel, my profession persona has improved massively. My language and ability to draft complex emails and understand the depth of projects has grown massively. My presenting skills have grown massively to and my ability to network.
the work is challenging but I really enjoy it. It has exceeded my expectations. Its definitely not a 9-5 job but the benefits and interests far outway it. My team are really friendly and personable and I feel like I can ask and all questions and be held in high regard within the team too.
highly valued, in my team I am a major part of my project and have been told I already am a huge asset to the team. Every now again you need to realise you are junior and don't know all the answers but they help facilitate you to take on responsibility and give opportunities too.
very well organised, they have their own team for exams and the influence of a buddy (year above you) and a councillor ( 2 grades above) is amamzing as it makes you feel really supported.
lots of support, they keep spamming me but it's good as it keeps me revising
Loads of support, any and all questions are accepted and managers and councillors alike will make sure you are doing okay, work load isn't overbearing etc.
I moved to London for this job and I live very comfortably and have money to spend on socialising and holidays etc. It also increases year on year for the first 5 years which is even better.
quite a few
Yes
It's such a friendly environment, the qualification is world wide renown (ACA) and it's a great place to learn and develop what you want to do with your career. It gives you the building blocks to make a career and a life for yourself. Employers want experience rather than grades now so this is far more valuable and you qualify quicker.
keep going, and do your research on the company and the department, find some things the department has recently been involved with and don't be afraid to show them how amazing you are.
