Assistant tax advisor. I work with my team to complete admin and technical jobs. I often have to email clients with questions in relation to work I am completing and sometimes provide them with work completed.
I have develop some good tax technical skills - especially relation to corporate tax. I have also developed more general skills such as people skills for meetings and professional writing styles.
I enjoy having a routine with opportunities to try different things. I feel involved within my team and have a purpose. It has so far exceeded my expectations
I often get appreciation from my managers and even more senior employees, they have a good system for rewarding employees. I get plenty of opportunities to get involved within varying projects.
Great induction with some basic training. Went straight on to a course for a whole week where I learnt the basics of what I will be doing. Continued training has been done within my team.
I feel I am able to get as much support I need with multiple contacts provided however don feel I need many as tutoring was well done. Updates are often given as reminders.
I have a counsellor who ensures my study's are going well and is there in case I have any issues. The HR team are quick to respond to any issues such as exam dates.
I currently live at home so have little living costs however commute is fairly expensive. Pay covers all costs and I can expense any additional cost which are directly linked to work.
We have monthly drink events and do multiple team leisure events each year - not done one yet though. Have also been included in a charity event which the team is participating in.

Treats employees well and provides great skill development. They also allow for flexible working which helps keep a great work-life balance. The pay is very reasonable for an apprentice.
