The role is exactly the same as a graduate employee with day to day account auditing and responsibilities. Good responsibility however poor remuneration for the responsibility as always one grade behind the graduates
Learning towards the ACA
The people are great however the job can be very stressful and there is a poor work/life balance with a company culture of unreasonable expectations
Promotions are automated and bonuses are minimal or non-existent this means that good staff feel undervalued.
Being the first year there is much uncertainty about the progress of the course with much of the decisions being made on an 'as it happens' basis.
Kaplan college there is assistance if asked.
Due to the uncertainty listed above there is little or no support for issues and the HR team are particularly poor with the knowledge of the scheme
Salary is good for someone without a degree
There are opportunities however the work doesn't offer the flexibility to attend them
