I am a software engineer so my role changes relatively often, but one thing that stays the same is the monitoring and support of systems, so first thing i do in a morning is a check that servers are running and that I have no requests for support. Then I proceed with any development work I have after I will give updates of my progress to my manager and client.
Yes I have learnt many new skills, especially coding languages and software engineering techniques. I have also learnt more interpersonal skills for talking to managers and senior employees, and this can vary from asking fro feedback and advice to explaining what I do and am doing.
I love my program and find it very work related which helps when needing help as I do not need to rely on my teachers but can find help and advice in the work place.
I feel highly valued as an employee and person, as they realise I have other commitments and show this consistently. But this also is shown in how they look after me with training and when working on client site.
It is very well organised and structured I know exactly what Im doing each year and never fear of not knowing if anything were to change.
I receive a good amount of support as they realise my work commitments as well as my studies.
Lots of support as mentioned everyone in the company will help if asked and that helps monitor and progress my training.
It meets them relatively well, especially to think I will have no debt from the training I partake in.
Yes there are many activities and social events organised by other employees and are very well organised for fun and team work building.
Yes
