My role is working within the bank usually on the counter or out in the banking hall. It involves putting the customers needs first and finding opportunities to help them.
I have learnt how to work in a busy banking environment and my customer service skills have improved. I have learnt how to use a counter system and how to operate the help and advice computer and how to fulfil the customers needs on the ipads.
I enjoy my programme greatly. It is a great experience and I have learnt a lot of new skills. It is usualy very interesting and has taught me a lot of new skills which will help me in all aspects of my working life.
I feel highly valued by lloyds banking group. All the staff are treated fairly and get a good oportunity to express their feelings. The opportunities that I get make me feel like a valued part of the team.
My apprenticeship programme is fairly well structured. I have regular monthly meetings with my apprenticeship lady whcih is good but I dont get any time in work hours to complete my apprenticeship workbooks so i am left to do it all at home.
From my training provider I recieve lots of support and i can email or call her if I need any help. She is quick to respond to emails and very understanding if i need extra support with anything.
I don't recieve much support from my employer. I dont get any time to complete my apprenticeshuip workbooks in work time so i am left to complete it all at home which can sometimes be difficault as I work a lot of the time.
My salary meets my costs well. I think i get paid a very fair ammount and as I am currently living at home I dont have huge costs. I am overall happy with this.
There are some opportunities outside of work but i dont get a huge ammount of free time. We sometimes do activities as a branch which can be fun.
