I am on a rotational programme in which I do 6 month placements throughout the firm. The day to day tasks vary dependant on team, however it is broadly analytical and you are given great responsibility. Most work is project based with large clients. I am exposed to clients as it is a client facing role and I enjoy this.
I have developed skills through internal training provided and by doing the AAT levels 3 and 4 through the apprenticeship. I have developed both personal and professional skills.
I enjoy the programme as it gives a great opportunity to learn lots of new skills and meet great people. The company culture varies from department to department.
I feel that we are greatly valued by our teams, and are treated in line with graduates. However, I do not feel that the management of the 360 programme appreciate and understand this at times which can be very frustrating.
The training is very well structured on the whole. The programme is structured well with 6 month rotations which help us to gain an understanding of our future career preference.
I receive enough support. We can reach out for as much support as we wish which is great.
A lot. All the teams I have been in are very friendly and helpful - this is great as an apprentice as it helps you develop professionally and personally.
Our salary meets our costs if we are to live at home and commute as I do - it would not be feasible to move out and still enjoy a reasonable standard of living. Being based in zone 2 helps slightly with transport costs.
There are plenty of opportunities such as volunteering and many social events.
Yes
As it is a 'Big 4' company, it looks great on your CV as you will gain management experience very quickly and be exposed to a great variety of work from the offset.
