My role is an application support apprentice. This involves making sure the systems are available for the business users, and if there is a problem it is resolved quickly and efficiently.
Yes, I'm learning to code in SQL, C#, and gone over my HTML and CSS coding.
I enjoy my program very much as I'm not just learning long term skills but also about the finance world which is a big part of everybody's life.
I feel very valued! M and G are about retaining and developing their employees so I've felt very nurtured and had many people help me on a day to day basis.
It is structured well, we have all the dates we leave for external training. The assesses come in every two months to see our progress. I also have regular catch-ups with my mentor to see how I'm getting on.
I receive amazing support from my training provider, I can contact them by email or phone and ask them any questions I have.
As I've said I have regular catch up's with my mentor, and she checks up on me to make sure I have enough work to do or if I need help. I also have a catch-up with the head of the apprenticeship scheme in M and G and goes through several things with me.
It meets it very well! Amazing salary I get and so appreciative they've given so much.
At my age not many but as I grow I'm sure there will be
