I work as a personal banker, my daily role entails me opening banking and savings accounts for customers, and also personal loans credit cards and general insurance.
Yes I have gained knowledge about banking. I am able to help customers with more complex enquiries.
It is a lot of work load and sometimes gets on top of you.
I really value my manager at my branch as she has helped me a lot and has really supported me with my course.
The overall outcome and qualification that I will receive is definitely worth the work load, sometimes it is a lot of work to try and complete whilst also trying to do the best you can at your day to day job.
The tutor from Santander is very supportive, the tutor from BPP wasn't so helpful at the beginning of the course.
A lot from my manager and Fiona from Santander HR team.
I think I would really enjoy having a pay rise after my course has finished but unfortunately my salary just stays the same.
We try and meet up whenever we can but we are all from all-over the UK so it can be difficult but we have a what's app group we keep in contact on and help each other when we can.
Yes
Because it is a grate company to work for and I work with a lot of lovely people.
Just be yourself and have a jolly personality. When you are working with customers face to face all day you need to be the type of person that enjoys helping people.
