- Trainee Associate - Auditing - Speaking to clients, and working in teams - Accounting
- Developed lots of skills e.g. time management, client communication, presentation, auditing - Training to become an ACA qualified chartered accountant
- Enjoy working in teams - Learn a whole range of skills and it's a massive learning curve - Culture is not great as it's very stressful and long hours - Lots of travelling, which can be extremely tiring at times
- Not as much appreciation is given as deserved - Always expected for you to do more - They have cut down on impact awards, meaning less recognition rewards are given - this has created a bad atmosphere around this
- Organised as the exams are fairly spread out - Receive appropriate support from exam tutors - Teams are well managed and there's nearly always someone to help you - Training provided by EY isn't extremely helpful, and on-the-job learning is much more helpful
- You go to college for exams, which is very helpful
- Haven't used much of the support system in place - However, everyone has a counsellor and buddy who they can speak to
- Salary is good for our age - However, for the amount of hours we put in, it's not sufficient
- You can help out with extra curricular programs - Office often has social events
No
- For the age of school leavers, it's extremely stressful - Many people leave as soon as they qualify
- Give the application process your best - Try and speak to people at EY to try and get a true representation of the job - Research as much as possible
