As we are in 3 month placement my day is never the same all ways learning some thing new, in the department now I am learning about all the different soldering techniques.
As we were at college for the first 5-6 months I have learnt new skills before we came to work and these new skills have been improved as I am going through the work.
I enjoy the fact that you are all ways working as a team and that if you are every not sure of what to do someone will help you.
Leonardo is a very welcoming company, from when we first started to the employees in the department to when you change. we have meeting with manager and assessors and these meeting you show them what you have learned and we are all valued
The programme is very well organised form the 2 weeks induction before we started then the day release for college there is all ways help being offered. meeting are set up regular to see how you are getting on
these is all ways support from the training provider as in support, they are all asking if you need a hand or help
Leonardo have all ways offered support like manger meetings the company have given us an assessor to make sure we are doing our SVQ3 and we are not having any problems with it.
the salary despite being what you might expect as a first year apprentice is not really enough when it comes to staying in a flat.
there is all ways opportunities to voluntary for events outside work like going to schools or holding events in work, also there is other opportunities to help rise money for charity
Yes
the company a great to work for there are great opportunities to advance in your carer and they are all ways offering help to do that.
I would say that you will need to prepare before you go to the assessment centre, all ways try your best.
