It involves preparing computations and tax returns and continually making updates until submission. The work does vary day by day, and you gain more and more responsibilities week after week.
Everything I've learnt is a new skill, and these new skills vary from technical skills, to people to people skills.
My team is great, and the work is more enjoyable than i expected when deciding to join the firm.
I feel very valued, by not only my peers, but those above me as well, everyone is always appreciative of the work i do, and most people are keen to help
At the start I didn't really have a clue, but 9 months in, and I think I just about know the structure of what I should be doing for the next year or two.
We have regular training sessions in various different areas, however the providers change each time so there is no ongoing contact really
There is a lot of support offered from the employer, however no one in the team other than those who have been on the programme before understand the layout, so help in that sense is only available from a couple of people. But for general work and development there is lots of support
It's good. Compared to apprenticeships in other fields, it is very good.
There are socials and events very regularly, from going to the theatre to playing football, so the opportunities vary greatly. People also have an opportunity to try out different departments and do secondments, not only in the country, but abroad too.
