All technical skills I have currently have been learnt in work. As well as this, I have gained a HNC and HND in Eng. Systems through college.
I am now in my final placement and thoroughly enjoy working in my department. All expectations have been met and clear future goals have been set for post-apprenticeship progression.
Very valued. Future goals have been clearly set and currently I have a lot of day-to-day responsibilities. Regular meetings with senior management clearly outline the value of apprentices to the company both long-term and short-term.
A good variety of placements are given to each apprentice. Necessary support given when required so all work can be completed with confidence.
If required, support is readily available. This can be through management, college lecturers etc.
As much as required. Support must be sought after by the individual. There are many sources of support from engineers to older apprentices to senior management. All of which are happy to help.
Very well. Higher than average wage for an apprentice.
Yes, a lot of extracurricular activities take place and are open to all employees.
