As a technical apprentice my day today tasks are varied. I swap placements four times a year. a lot of the work I do is testing as its a good task for apprenticed to learn from
working in a real work place allows you to grow your skills. not only do I gain qualifications through the apprenticeship I also gain skills like presenting in meetings
I thoroughly enjoy the program. not only do you gain qualifications at college that you get paid for ,you also get the knowledge and understanding of how a real business works
I feel valued as an employee of Leonardo as there is much structured support for us apprentices. we all have personal managers who help us and we also have apprentice managers/
my program is very structured. there's a clear plan of the future placements you will be joining and every 3 months there are reviews of your progress.
you receive a lot of support from training providers. we have reviews every 3 months and this is where you see your progress and can ask for additional help if you need it
you receive a lot of support from your employer. we have reviews every 3 months and this is where you see your progress and can ask for additional help if you need it
my pay meets my cost well enough. it is enough to cover my travel to work and also my stoical life. pay increases over the years of apprenticeship and I feel this is well suited for the work your doing.
as apprentices we have loads of opportunities. when the apprenticeship is being promoted they like us to promote it. this means that we are invited to school events all the time

Leonardo is a great company to work for. there are plenty of opportunities in the company to develop and proceed with a career that's right for you.
once you have passed the online stage you will be invited to a assessment day. its important here that you be yourself and come across to the staff that you seem like somebody that want to employ.
