  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a Complex Order Manager which entails managing customer expectations, organising activities with an overview of installing our Voice over Date product at customer sites. We have frequent communication with other departments, manage engineers and communicate with businesses frequently.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes - I have learnt how to evaluate a customer journey + I am in process o9f completing a qualification in Customer Services.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy working for BT as I enjoy the people I work with, the support I get and the culture of the company I work for.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by BT Group?
  • I have developed a level of trust with my Manager and this is what motivates me on daily basis. Recognition is achievable and I enjoy being challenged when phased with different tasks outside of my day to day role.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well as I have received training when I have needed it and my programme is organised very well.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I receive support when I need it and I feel as my TP is always there. The attitude from my manager i9s really positive which makes work enjoyable.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A great deal of support. Can't fault them for anything. I can have a chat with my manager whenever I need it and this makes me feel really comfortable at work.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Not the best of salaries - but I am a long term thinker and I know by the end of my Apprenticeship I will be in a better position which will make this worth it.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes - I have made use of these form the 1st week. My manager gives me backing to go and I don't disappoint him by keeping up to my commitments in the department I am situated in.

  • Yes

  • Because it is a great place to work and I know everyone would enjoy working here.

  • Be confident, be yourself and be thoughtful of those around you - BT love team players!
