I am a Apprentice Multi-skilled Technician meaning i offer support to all operators and jobs when it comes to technical jobs which these do not have all access too do.
Yes i have learnt many new skills as the job is still fresh to me and i am learning new things every day due to the size of each buildings and the machines etc inside.
I enjoy my programme. The team that i am based with at the minute are very helpful and always offer me support on jobs etc when i need it as i am still not fully up to scratch with some of the techniques.
I feel valued as part of the team. I am always included on jobs and day to day things on site. My manager offers praise as well as support and i am always kept up to date and on track with projects.
The structure is well thought out and allows time for college and learning.
I am kept up to date with my college work and i am also always supported if i am stuck with any of the work. My tutor is very helpful and approachable which makes it easier.
They are always backing me up and making sure that they are not setting me and the other apprentices up to fail. This is done by meetings ensuring everyone is on track and support is offered if needed.
I am very pleased with my salary as it allows me to spend money and enjoy my lifestyle outside of work and still keep up with living costs and daily costs.
We are always kept up to date with various events and plans that are going off within the company. When i wasn't working i was playing sports and working part time.
Yes
The company overall is of a very high standard. For the idea of learning it is very good and always helpful. Everyone makes you feel part of a team regardless how long you have been here.
The staff are very approachable so relax and always try your best in these situations that can be quite nerve racking.
