My apprenticeship is based around IT networking, on a daily basis I am responsible for providing a network to big businesses and companies and also cancelling and stripping parts of the network that we no longer need
I have learnt many new skills from when I started, including simple things such as learning to talk within big crowds of people, many specific training courses
I am very much enjoying the programme so far, there is lots to learn and many opportunities within the business and I am excited to take a look at these
I am aware my contribution to the business is in its own way, very important and I have been praised for my work which I have done previously
very well structured, there is learning for you inside your job role, as well as course work which needs to be completed and a BTEC training course which you are also sent on
receive a lot of support
employers are very well supportive and are there should you have any problems
salary is higher than typical apprentice salary
there are many volunteering opportunities and many other learning events outside of work, such as being able to visit other bt sites
Yes
it is a very good apprenticeship
show you are a confident individual, and willing to learn
